7 Journal Prompts for Stress & Anxiety

Remember when we used to write diaries (or journal) every day?

Back then, our diaries contained all our secrets: thoughts, fears, achievements, opinions, the person I was totally having a crush on, etc. Essentially, it was a reflection on what happened on that day and how we felt. I always have a sense of relief after letting everything out onto my diary or journal. It feels like speaking to a friend, or my inner self (I name her Zoe because why not 🀷🏻), without any judgment.

Journaling is recommended by therapists and mental health professionals to move through emotions, and let go of some of the stress and anxiety in your mind. As you write, it will help you see things for what they really are, perhaps lead to action (or not because you have no control over it), and will give you room to breathe easier.
